a few weeks ago 3 of my games (company of heroes, CnC3, oblivion) randomly started having this wierd loading problem. as soon as loading ends, the screen just freezes. but the game goes on...i can click and hear sound effects. im getting really sick of this problem, and it wont stop. company of heroes and oblivion used to work, but CnC3 never did.

anyone know what to do???

Try updating all your drivers, patching up all the games if they're not already and keeping the computer cool when you try and play the games.

1. Check to see if your Graphics card's damaged

2. Check for updates for your graphic card drivers

3. Run a registry cleaner(if you haven't got one before then you're bound to find alot of errors)

4. Defrag HDD

5. Scan with Virus Scan

6. Restore com to earlier time before you experience these problems.

Hope this helps

Seriously, Check to see if your graphics card is damaged, the cooling fan is shot (it happens) or it is dirty. Just because you can play other games doesn't mean it isn't a problem with the graphics card. Checking drivers (uninstall the old ones before installing new ones) first is a little easier, but it can be real graphics cards problems... Different games have different demands on a graphics card using more or less memory, running it hotter or cooler, etc., and it is really possible for most games to work fine on a damaged graphics card but just have a game or few to be demanding enough to cause problems... I have had two cards over the years (one with memory problems and another with heat issues) that acted up only some of the time, with some games... In addition, there is the question of whether you added any new hardware lately, because if so, it could also be an issue of insufficient power... You really can't rule out hardware issues just because something works some of the time and not at other times.
