I don't get it, everytime a play any game, at any random moments, the fps go from normal to slow 4 about 5 seconds, and then goes back up and then randomly does it again. Its very disturbing, especially when I'm playing CS:S where I need playable fps the most.
Here r my specs: http://www.productwiki.com/gateway_mx7118/article/gateway_mx7118_specifications.html
Just tell me wat the #%$ is goin on and I'll be on my way.
Thanks 4 the help
(Note: Its the ATI Xpress 200m, not the X300 and I have 1024mb of memory, not 512 )

Turn down the graphics. I had a 200M on my old lappy and it ran CS: S fine (30ish fps) at 1280x800, high settings with no HDR or AA.

Plug your power cable in, or disable power manage ment stuff by, going to control pannel, power options and set the power saving options off, or just plug your power cable in that should fix it.
