WTH- no one plays counter strike?

downloaded cs:source off of steam this morning, and in the ENTIRE list all the servers were empty.

did a plague hit or is their a bug of some sort?

Well right now there are 85K people online so....might be some firewall problems or something.

Are u using a router or a wireless connection? because I got the same problem with Heroes of Newerth. I was using wireless internet and I couldnt see any game... took the router out of the equation, used cables and that was it :)

there are tons of empty servers when i go on at peak times. CS source isnt as big as it used to be. Gets boring when its ont he same 3 maps.

Make sure your filters show only games that have players currently playing, also theirs a small bug that will sometimes show servers being empty or full on the server but when you right click and show info on the server, the empty ones are actually very populated and the full ones have no one or 1-2 players. Usually a restart will fix this.

It's not a problem on you end, it's a known bug with Steam. Use the server browser outside of the game, or switch to the beta version of Steam which can also solve the problem.

which CS you mean if it Source there is something wrong with your connection cuz I was playing it in the morning and there were lots of players !

there's nothing wrong with steam, he's probably got his firewall blocking it though. User error ftw!
