will x1950pro max out Elder scrolls 4 oblivion if not will it al least play it on medium

is there much of a performance leap between the x1950pro and the x1950xt

if you had to choose between the x1950pro(xt) or the 8600 xfx which would you choose...

it will not max it but it should play on medium. i have an x1900xt which is about on par with the x1950xt and it is much better than ther x1950 pro. it should play oblivion on high settings pretti easily. i would take the x1950xt over an 8600 any day

... if he is on a budget get a x1950 pro. that can easily run Oblivion on high just 1280x1024 under look at the benchmarks before u judge cause my old 7600 gs could easily run medium on oblivion with 30-40 fps

Hehe, I'm gwtting an x1950GT which is lower clocked than a Pro but runs the same hardware. It happens that I'm a hardcore overclocker and modder so I'm flashing a x1950 Pro bios over my gt bios (256MB). U'll even get better clock rates than a factory x1950 Pro. DOnt EVEN consider an Nvidia cus the 7900GS is getting lower (much lower) scores than the x1950 (any gt pro xt u name it). There a diffrence of 3% between the 256 and 512 version so go with the cheapper. OCing it will definately overshaddow the diffrence. Unless u like playing on Ultra hi rez... 2XXX x 1XXX. As far as I know. U cant go wrong if u either buy a GT XT or Pro

Uhh..... Ok who says you can't play Oblivion maxed out with a X1950pro? LOL your a joke.

My specs

X1950pro 512mb

2GBs DDR2 4200

AMD 64 X2 3600+ 2.2ghz

I run the game maxed with AA on and AF at a rez of 1024x768 FPS of 50-120, Don't tell me you can't paly it on max! You gotta have other good specs too.
