I own both X2 The Threat and X3 Reunion, yet I've never even played either one. Now I feel like playing a flight sim style game, and Darkstar One has hardware issues on my machine. Which is better out of X2 and X3? I have to decide which one to install...
Thanks heaps in advance :D

X3 is the sequal to X3 so X3 has better graphics and is easier to get into. Just be sure to download the patch from egosoft.

Ya it makes it DVD-free and adds loads to the game :) If you bought it via steam then it should be up to date already...

Also, check out the forums on the egosoft website for ingame help and advice. They really are pretty good.

Just start with X3...the learning curve is STEEP but you pick it up pretty fast with much fun to be had. You can use a mouse though jsut fine but a flight stick does add a lot to the immersion factor.
