So I got an 8 GB Flash drive (FAT 32 Format) and I put a few movies onto it, I origonally downloaded them as .AVI files then converted them to .WMV using Prism Converter (free edition)...So when I plug the Flash Drive into my Xbox 360 only one movie works fine and the rest Cannot be read...The converted files are even distorted visually and auditorally on my computer. (The origanal .AVI versions work just fine on my computer.)

So I was wondering, what is wrong with this situation? What can I do about this, to make movies work on my Xbox 360 using my Flash Drive? And what is a great movie converter?

Thank you to whoever helps me out.

you dont have to convert the files, avi's work as long as you have the media update that came out last year

I do not have xbox live so I don't have any updates, I tried playing the .AVI movie files and they did not work, then I converted them to .WMV and they didn't work except for one movie. I don't understand.

I would actually recommend downloading PS3video9 (google it) and use that to convert your .avi's. They should work fine and you can set the quality and resolution, plus it's free.
