xbox 360 controller compatibility

are WIRED xbox 360 able to be used with PC games, or do i have to buy one of those overpriced made for pc controllers that look exactly like xbox controllers

The wired 360 controller will work on both 360 and PC, and you probably won't even have to search for drivers as Windows recognises it. It's only if you want the wireless one that you have to buy the special PC one, for the additional wireless receiver necessary for using it on PC.
