If I have an xbox controller and the usb thing that charges it can I just plug that into the computer, download the drivers and use it as a controller for my PC?

Thanks

I've no idea, to be honest - do you have that stuff already? Why not give it a go? If you're thinking of buying a plug and charge kit exclusively, I'd invest in an Xbox 360 Wireless Adapter for Windows instead - I have one, and I can connect four controllers to it. My friend James and I have hours of fun on Soldner-X: Himmelssturmer at stupid o'clock on weekends. :D

got a question, also about xbox 360 controller for pc and dont want to start a new thread

i have a 360 controller and when i load it in any games it registers twice, which is very annoying, so on the menus whenever i press down it moves down 2 times, once for the frst time the controller is registered and once for the second time, so eveyrthing happens twice as much and it kind of ruins games

i have re-installed, restarted controller and pc but it still does it

any ideas anyone?

Does it happen in all games, or just certain games? Have you tried reinstalling the drivers?

No you can't I'm affraid. The charge kit is just that, a charge kit, the 360 pad is still wireless. To use the wireless pad you need the Xbox 360 wireless gaming receiver for Windows.

It really is an amazing bit of kit.
