Well because nothing seems to have gone right in this move, as seen in my previous two topics started this week.

My Xbox has access to my PC and can see the Audio/Video files on the PC. However when I click on wone I get an Error message.

Staus Code: 53-C00DF238

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Please do not post "Use Google" or "Google is your friend" etc.

I am looking the problem up now, and should I find a solution I will post here or simply remove the topic.

Thank you for your help, and time.

Also Please note that sometimes I can't connect to the PC at all.

And further information. My Connection is Wired, it is a direct connection, no router between the PC and the Xbox.

EDIT: When the xbox cannot connect to the PC at all I just need to restart UPNP, SSDP, and Windows Media Player Sharing services and the Xbox can connect to the PC again. Unfortunately still no progress on getting it to work.

EDIT: More info. If I connect the PC and the Xbox through a router the Xbox sees the PC and can play all of the things from it. This would be great news, however because of the location of the nearest internet access point I am forced to use a wireless adapter for my PC, and as soon as I plug in the router and plug my PC + my Xbox into it my PC thinks the internet should come from there and not the Wireless Adapter. If someone can solve this instead of the above question that would be just as good. Thank you.

I would like to thank you for responding. Unfortunately that did not fix my problem. I have now tried the following solutions to no avail: "1) End the Windows Media Player process TREE, to end all associated processes. 2) Go to Start>Run>services.msc 3) Scroll all the way down to find Universal Plug n Play Host. 4) Right click, and restart the process. 5) Right click again, go to properties. 6) Change the startup from manual to automatic." This one allows me to enter the Computer from the 360 but does not allow me to watch any of the files.

EDIT: There was more to this message but it got cut off for some reason.

I think if I can figure out how to connect the router to the PC without losing internet connection. IF anyone has any suggestions for any of these problems please let me know. Thank you.

Problem Fixed. Thank you all for attempting to help me. Just to let anyone know. I had to bridge the two connection and then restart all of the needed services.
