Hey everybody, this might be a dumb question but I can't seem to figure it out. I've been playing my 360 on my desktop monitor and everything works fine. Now, I recently got a brand new lap top and I want to play the 360 on it. The problem is I can't figure out how to turn the monitor on by itself. Am I missing something? Thanks for any help!

for that to work you will need an input vga port, and if im not correct, laptops only have a outlet vga port.

Check out the Adaptec Gamebridge. I picked one up for about $20. Works like a charm.

newegg.com for $55, and had mixed reviews.  some said the audio lagged behind the video, which isnt good for gaming.  but the adaptec gamebridge is probably your only option
