I'm going to pick up a gamepad for my racing games but which one would be better? I'm thinking the Xbox controller would be best because of it's triggers would allow me to press however much I wanted on the throttle. The Rumblepad is configured just like a PS3 controller, with NO triggers.

So my question really is... do triggers give you any sort of advantage in a racing game?

they are nice, but I'd take the 360 controller for the fact not many new games work nativley with anything other than the 360 controller. why not get the windows receiver and have your 360 controller wireless?

I used to have a rumblepad 2 and it was an awesome controller til game devs decided they would only support the 360 controller. dirt with the logitech is like using the keyboard while the 360 controller works great

I have the Logitech cordless rumblepad and the 360 controllers, and the 360 is way better, used it with grid, dirt , NFSMW, and gtr2, and Yeah it feels better on the 360 gamepad, plus the triggers sensitivity is great, so yes I recommend the 360 controller over the logitech

it helps a lot on those curves
