i just bought a pc for my room and of course vista is installed on all comps these days. i heard u can use the 360 control on it, and was wondering how to get that to work? i have a wireless control, but i have the plug in piece that goes into usb. if anyone knows how do i get that connected, i downloaded some sort of software when i first plugged it in but it still dont conenct. sny info would help. i have 2 wireless controls and i really dont have the cash to buy a pc spicific control (600$pc-recentyl got halo3 and a new control and EQ2, so im poor atm)

Only way to get the wireless version of the 360 controller to work on the PC is to buy the Wireless Gaming Reciever($20) from your local game store.

The wired version works automatically after a windows update.

I'd just use a wired one... Just plug it in to USB and it will install itself in 5 seconds, and your ready to go. I think the games for Windows thing is kind of lame though. I'd rather use a PS3 controller for DMC4 and it doesn't let me but w/e..
