X-Com:UFO Defense

So X-com UFO Defense is only $2.50 on Direct2Drive.com. Is it a good game? I'm looking for personal opions of the game.

YES! However it has quite a learning curve which is great because it is something you don't see much of today.

It without a doubt one of the better games ever thought up by man.

It blends quite a few genres, and it will rock your socks ^^

the game has a Windows executable, and it works like a charm, heck even works on my 64bit vista

I"m assuming that the X-Com bundle on D2D works perfectly in Windows. I once tried the X-com 1 windows version some years back and it would hang so often w/c is making me apprehensive of getting the bundle. It's so tempting though! I remember spending entire weekends just playing these games!
