Is xfireworth it?

Is it compatable with all games? Or do you place them on xfire yourself?

I had one of those cant remember what its called now...but it was a bit pointless really.

Whats sogood about xifre in other words?

And it's just really freaking handy to be able to talk to your friends without having to alt+tab all the time. :)

Yes, in-game chat is nice, you can talk to a friend while you are playing a game and also if your friend is also playing a different game. You can see what games your friends are playing, and it also records how many hours you play. Another cool feature is the join game feature, where you can press a button to jump to a game server that a friend is playing on.

Yeah it's worth it. It's not compatible with all games yet but they add more with every update and all the most popular games work with it. It's really nice to be able to join friends' servers and chat with people playing other games and whatnot without having to minimize the game, use another instant messenger and then go back to the game.

I deleted it awhile ago, due to the fact that it boots me out of my games some times.

I found that quite annoying :)

I like Xfire. I am a regular on it, its really good when you want to play games like Halo, Quake 3 with your friends. Of course, there is always in game chat...but I like Xfire just the same.

i use it to track my game usage, also to talk to friends. It detects installed games and works ok. Some conflicts but not many.

Really good app IMHO. The ability to join servers, that your friends are playing on, from it is reason alone to use it. Plus, you never miss an IM from friends. The only thing that sucks is that they know you can see it so they can badger you for a reply. It's really annoying when you're trying to whoop-up on some people.

I like it to track my game time.

And it's just a download which then updates automatically. Very low maintainence.

It's also nice for checking the status of your favourite servers without even opening one of the game programs. No more opening Counter Strike just to find your servers of choice are dead or full.

Xfire is great. Ingame chatting, game time tracker, server tracker, file downloader (Xfire can automatically download patches for your games) are all great.

It supports a large majority of PC games and makes it easy to join your friends games with one click and can chat ingame so it is very useful

it's worth it. It's easy to join a game with a friend(s), see who's online or offline, see what your friend(s) are playing, talk to your friends, and there's a big community.
