I think someone here bought it and he posted about that. Sorry, i forgot his name so i cant tell.
Anyway, if you want to have some real experience because you are willing to get one. Then i'd say wait till 9800GTX then ask about itSearchMaster
Was That person me? :)
I apologize for being off-topic but i have a question
Give me a 790i Ultra and 9800GX2 recommendation
I've looked at the Evga, XFX, and Asus motherboard and corresponding 9800GX2 solutions
The company that i choose will manufacture both the mobo and the 9800GX2, so who should i go with?
current reviews look very promising for the 9800GTX. I would get that as opposed to the GX2.LuminouslightEspecially that its going to be priced somewhere close to 50% of GX2 price so its your call to decide now

What?I highly doubt that as it can give 2x the performance of a 8800GT in higher resolutions.I dont think the GTS can even come close to ever giving 2x the performance of an 8800GT under any circumstances.[QUOTE="azazel_666"][QUOTE="Luminouslight"]current reviews look very promising for the 9800GTX. Why do i care? It's obvious that the architecture of the 9 series is different as 9600GT keeps up with 8800GT having half as many SP's and looking at the 8 series it is clear that the no. of SP's have the biggest impact on raw performance.
Stop trying to act as if you know it all by just looking at the specs of graphics cards. It doesnt work that way.
