currently in the gaming market you can not buy a video game that works only on DirectX 5.
If you stay with XP you will not be able to use DirectX 10.
Can you predict the future given my statements above?
Thats why in my post below i said id dual boot :P
XP x64 does not have an SP3 yet. It follows with the Server 2003 patching timeline. But for what it's worth, I liked XP x64 a lot for the bit of time I used it. No **** about DHCP or native resolutions or not wanting to work with anything I tossed at it unlike Vista x64."Of course having it is good. But, being a 32-bit OS, you're limited in how much RAM that you'll be able to use."
Theres still XP PRO x64 ;), thats what i use, but no SP3 for the 64 bit xp edition, only SP2 for now.

I know i already said that in my post :P.
do not got 64 bit XP its driver support...actually what driver support.... either go 32bit XP (which is what i would do) or 64/32bit Vista.yoyo462001
what about the driver support? ... i got XP 64-bit and didnt have a SINGLE problem with any drivers. Explain to me what you mean by "do not got 64 bit XP its driver support...actually what driver support."
