Right now in my current computer I have a 250gig HD which is almost at capacity with games/movies. I am going to be transferring this storage drive to my new computer when its built within the next few weeks. My question is: Could I just unhook this drive from my current computer and hook it up in the new computer with a vista drive already installed? Or do I have to wipe ALL that data clean?

Also, could anyone enlighten me with the 64bit or 32bit vista versions? Is there a big difference between the 2?

As long as the filesystem is supported, the drive should be mounted without a problem.

yes u can use this hdd to transfer your stuffs to your new hdd .. all u need to do is unplug ur present hdd and slave it to the secondary slot of your new computer . once ur done you will see a new drive appear on ur my computer and you will be able to explore it ....

note : make sure u slave ur present hdd not make it primary otherwise win.xp is going to boot than vista !
