Yay! I got my Diablo III Beta Invite and how you can get yours too!

I'm frickin loving this game! Only downside is that the servers have been pretty unstable all night. I think this last wave of invites was pretty big. Anyone else get in?

How to get in the Diablo III Beta - Two Methods:

Opt-In Through Battle.net

1. Go to Battle.net
2. Log in
3. Go to Account
4. Click on Beta Profile Settings
5. Click Diablo 3 (may be best to just do all :P)
6. You'll have to download something for Blilzzard to download your computer's specs, but after that you are all set up. :)

Facebook Contest

1. Go to the Diablo Facebook Page.
2. Click on Diablo III Beta Sweepstakes
3. Fill out your info and you'll be good to go!

Don't have Facebook? There's an alternative!

1. Go to their Alternative Method of Entry page.
2. Fill out your info

If you submit through both the Battle.net Opt-in and Facebook and/or Alternative Method of Entry, you double your chances of an invite!

Personally, I can't give much yet. The servers have been very unstable and I may have like 90 minutes of gametime and even that was weird with a lot of enemies disappearing and reappearing with lag issues. Hopefully, it'll become more stable in the coming days and I can give better insight in how the game plays. :)

Got to play for 20 minutes before getting an error. Now I can't even log in...

Got my invite today and I'm cruising through the game now on my Demon Hunter. Two hours in and no errors yet.

It's official. I'm addicted. I just played 5.5 hours of the beta (3 with barb, 2.5 with monk). I really want to start a Wizard run now, but my eyes won't let me.

Too tired to give full impressions, but this is how I sum up Diablo III: it fixes everything that was wrong with DI and DII, but keeps everything that made it fun. I cannot wait for this game to release.

Sorry if I sound ignorant here, but how hard is it to get an invite? I wouldn't mind having one, but only because I feel Blizzard will push back the release date a few times after it's set. VeroniSpore

Having played all 3 games, Diablo I, II, and TQ, I will say that while TQ is a decent game, it in no way compares to the Awesomeness of Diablo.

MMh interesting. I may get it day one, so i invest in a good game i could like.. it's normally dissapointing to play sequels from ur fav games

Actually yeah, two main things that stand out more in Diablo than TQ is Atmosphere, and the music (which helps create the atmosphere) Diablo still has one of the best soundtracks in gaming. Though Diablo III is composed by a different composer, it is still in the same vein.

Diablo is actually more stable than TQ, performance wise TQ frames were all over the place, dependign on what was going on. I remember Diablo being more stable.

Diablo I think I will have more fun with singleplayer, than TQ co-op. Though I will be going through Diablo III with friends and family.
