... don't overlook the other awesome deals going on on Steam right now!

Torchlight @ 50% off = $9.99

Quantz @ 70% off = $3.00

And then there's the new Steam Play Indie Pack which includes five top-quality games for a paltry $20: And Yet It Moves, Galcon Fusion, Machinarium, Osmos and World of Goo (which you can gift to a friend if you already bought it as part of the recent "Humble" bundle).

My friends, now is a very, very good time to be a gamer. 8)

one thing i noticed though, this is getting very centric on mac because they out low spec games on sale only. So far so good, but imo things may go wrong with mac in the scene.

Valve will just need to include a "Very Low" setting for all the people who spent $1000 on a Macbook and now think that it can play games well.

Nobody thinks macs can play games well, But that doesn't mean I don't want to play games on my mac.... And I don't see how mac being included in gaming is going to affect "PC" gaming, seeing that all it means is that developers get more money now.

I'd pay that much or more for Machinarium alone. Anything else in that pack are just bonuses (Osmos and World of Goo are also quite cool, though).

Portal, as in the three year old game that runs on the highly optimized Source engine at a relatively low resolution if you have the 13in Macbook. (Also notice I say Macbook, not Macbook Pro which do actually contain decent mobile cards.)

It will be called "Mac Settings" not very low, that would be a very low thing to do.

Its the first day on Mac so its obvious is gonna be abit more centric there for now. But i highly doubt that Valve will be centric to a platform that will have 2-3 million maybe 5-6million steam users as opposed to a platform that already has over 25million users on Steam ( Pc ). It doesnt make logic business wise
