It has a campaign mode (50+ maps), and an AWESOME online mode where it remembers all games played, and you can view any game played (including other players) to see the moves made. It's a turn-based strategy where the action unfolds in real-time, and you can simulate all moves (yours and your opponents) before you actually commit to them.

If you're a fan of TBS, strategy, or just want to try something new and refreshing, this is a great game.

Was glad to see it come on sale, I've been eyeing it since it was released.

Its been out a while and its def worth picking up. The music is amazing, singleplayer storyline is awesome, and multiplayer is great. The only bad thing is that people can take forever to do a turn. I am really surprised gamespot has not reviewed this game.

I think they're going to patch the game that includes (among other things) that if a player doesn't make a move in a multiplayer game in two weeks, it'll be a win for the other person. Since the game is doing pretty well, they're going to continue to support it, add things (possible 2v2 coop), and continue polishing. They're also going to be making one server that everyone plays on, so no more choosing between servers.

After playing a few MP matches I'm hooked, definitely recommend this game to turn based strategy fans.

Feel free to add me on steam if anyone wants to play some multiplayer. I need to start playing more. :P

I Love Frozen Synapse it reminds me of Rebel Star Raiders on the ZX Spectrum. If you don't have this game I seriously recommend it.

No offense, but you probably should read and listen more, instead of looking at moving pictures.

It's a tactical game, where you leade a specificly selected group of soldiers to complete the objective in a randomly generated map.

It has a lot of depth and strategy, you really have to think before you act, and it's just fantastic.

Takes awhile to get use to and people with low attention span will probably nto like it.

Put some time into it though and youll be rewarded with a very deep and challenging strategy game.

Virtual gym 2011: complete with Protein shakes, sports mini games, and naked women spotting while you lift. Using steroids is looked down on by the online community but will help give that manly appearance so long as you keep on your clothes.

There is actually a better sale going on right now at GamersGatefor $9.98 (which is actually $4.99 for each person since it's 2 for 1) and it is completely DRM free as well. I definitely recommend this game. Get it now while it's on the cheap. Split it with a friend if you have to.

Definitely. Its been a while since ive played a game THIS hard.

Got to third level and got bored. It's ok at first but, gets boring fast. They could also have done more with the graphics. I would give the game a 5.
