I've got an Inspiron 9400 with the Go 7900GS chip. The auto-settings picker in it even chose the medium setting. I did drop the rez down to 800x600 though and it does stutter every time it hits the hard drive, but I'm still pretty happy. It's one impressive looking game. I'm currently in the process of defragging my hard drive to see if that will help.

Good to hear. Just an FYI...defragging may help with load times, but it's highly unlikely that it will actually improve your in-game performance.

It wont explode but if he save's the game alot and has alot of save file's then he's memory may get used up because Labtop's dont have much ram I had a Dell that had 2.GB ram and alot of memory and it got filled up quick after installing just 10 game's so I sold the dell and bought a $1000 PC go figure. (I need to update my grapic's card to play cryisis)

just wait till you get to the frozen levels after you come out of the cave and the alien ship, BIG performance hit.

You won't be able to play it in the later levels. People tell me they have to lower the settings in the later levels drastically

Refreshing to read that someone is happy because they can run a game instead of moaning about not being able to max it out.

I play CrySis on my laptop too. And i play it nearly all the system settings high.

My system is:

Intel Core 2 Duo 2.18 Ghz, 2 Gb Ram, Geforce Go 7600 256 Mb

Do not take laptops easy. Yes, there is a problem about heat, but not much.

Hmm, I think the part in the village with the tanks was still the hardest on my comp, had to play with 15 fps for a minute there. :P
