I would put this in Legacy Platforms but since DOS PCs aren't exactly consoles, I figured the PC section would be as good as any. What're your top-5 classic DOS games? In no particular order, mine are:

1: Star Control II

2: Rogue

3: Doom

4: Dune II

5: Commander Keen

It's hard to choose only 5 games, but for now:

5. Might and Magic IV & V: World of Xeen

4. Doom II: Hell on Earth

3. System Shock

2. X-COM: UFO Defense

1. Ultima VII: The Black Gate

1. X-COM: UFO Defense (king of DOS games, hands down)

2. Dreamweb (someone might disagree)

3. Doom 2 (i think Duke3D was windows...)

4. Alone In The Dark

5. A BIG pile of Lucasarts adventure games.

warcraft 2, only one i've played. I remember I kept forgetting the commands to run the game in DOS, silly me I was too young.

Yes it was DOS to play but it required Win 95 to use the tool kit. Not that that disqualifies it, just sayin'. I played the original Warcraft too when it first came out but the TC didn't ask my top 10 DOS games just my top five.

I think that peeps are far more likely to list things that they miss which haven't gotten new versions (or GOOD new versions).

Surprised that Wing Commander has not cropped up. That series sold a lot of hardware :)
