Your Diablo 3 Class (Post Beta)

So what class you going with first? Was it the class you thought you were going to play?

I've been in beta for a while, I initially wanted to play Witch Doctor but after going through the beta with all classes I think I'm going to go Monk, possibly Barb.

Didn't play the Beta so no idea, just gonna go with the coolest looking one when I get the game.

I used PALADIN in Diablo1+2, what would be the similar one?

I'm torn between Barb and Monk. I like how you can feel the impact of the barbs brute force with every swing. Blowing enemies away is awesome and the end game gear set looks badass.

Then again, I like the swift and silky monk style too. His chakra like hand to hand melee was too cool. The end armor on the monk looks kind of dumb though. I will probably level up 2 in the beginning, then stick with the one i like the most for the end playthrough.

I didn't enjoy wizard at all really.

Am I the only person that's remotely interested in WD? :|

Had the most fun with the Wizard, which I played for like 6 hours on the same character just to get to level 13. Kept killing the skeleton king over and over again, it felt like the looking for dungeon system WoW has, except much more laid back. I'm going to have so much fun with this game!

I am MOST DEFINITELY a witch doctor. I played necromancer in Diablo 2, so I really miss that class (summons, horde buffs). Witch Doctor most resembles the necromancer with his summons and what not. but he just has a bunch of crazy **** I miss the dark / Serious tone of the necromancer. I really hope they make it a DLC at some point for like 5 new classes. like have a throwback character DLC. MESSAGE!

Until the game achieves a propperly Paladin class I'll focus on Barbarian; seems the only class able to take a boss hit without losing 3 lives.

Demon Hunter...I love the range and speed....that will be my first chracter followed by a Monk most likely.

Honestly I am not sure, played all the classes and none stood out. I usually play warrior / paladin so Barb seems like the obvious choice but his early skills weren't that exciting. Monk would be cool if he didn't use fists :/ Demon Hunter was more enjoyable than I expected though. nutcrackr

This. I usually always start out as a warrior class but the exploding enemies with cleave rune was just oh so satisfying in the Beta.

I really cannot decide between a wizard, witch doctor or hunter :(
