Your favorite in-game music

and by in game, it can be the main menu or starting dealie as well. for me, it would have to be a tie between battlefeild 1942 and world in conflict. 1942 had that awsome song that just never got old, and wic had those great millitary march type songs, they always sounded great.

I'd like to take this opportunity to link to this awesome remake of the old C&C song Act On Instinct (bit off-topic, but I figure some people might like it). I like the Command and Conquer music, but not enough to list any of it among my favorites. This remake, however, deserves some recognition.

Homeworlds sound track is awesome.. Specially the Ladder song from the band Yes... They also have the emotional gripping song that came from Platoon the movie..

Homeworld 2's songs were amazing too, specially when the planet destructors warped in.

normally switch off in-game music, but some of the Unreal music was great, also some of the original Unreal Tournament tracks

I love A Link to the Past as well...but I figured more people had played OoT so thats the one I named. and OoT has some others than just what Link to the Past has.

Company of Heroes: Opposing Fronts menu

Bioshock - Added so much to the atmosphere when you came across a record player still spinning in some deserted room.

World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade - Best music ever in an MMO, still listen to the soundtrack occasionally.

Beyond Good And Evil - Very fun soundtrack with lots of epic pieces in the appropriate places.

World In Conflict - Great score that matched the gameplay very well.

Mass Effect - Kind of corny in places, but really matches the sci-fi theme.

Uncharted: Drake's Fortune - Subtle where it needed to be, but really ramped up for the fighting, used for great effect.

Pirates of the Burning Sea - Very fun swashbuckling music, although it could have used more.

Homeworld - Probably my favorite, tribal themes in a space epic was absolutely genious and worked perfectly.

There are probably a ton that I'm missing, but that about sums it up for now.

Painkiller had an awesome soundtrack 8)gm84

Nothing beats Fallout 2 for me. Follwed by Diablo 2.
