Your Favorite PC Developer

Rockstar!  By far.  I know of no other games were every sequel is as good or better than the last!  Usually sequels are a let down compared to the original but we all know GTA is the extreme exception to this rule!

And yes I consider Half-Life 2 to be a let down to the original Half-Life, HL2 is a good game but no where near as good as the original.

Valve, because they gave us Halflife and Steam, the ideal model for downloading games, patching them, and getting all kinds of good stuff

Relic, because of Homeworld series and CoH

Westwood Studios, not only for C&C but also for Nox, Bladerunner, and the father of RTS games, Dune 2.

Obsidian, Bioware for their great RPGs.

Lucasarts, cuz Star Wars games are da bomb, plain and simple.

Not alot of people know this but Id software are your better gaming company... They build all of your gaming engines still...john carmacks wins the Game developer awards cuz he builds them for other companies... These are the games I know he built Call of duty call of duty UO call of duty 2 Half Life = quake 2 engine= counter-strike,day of defeat, other hl mods.. Almost all of your current gen games like star wars jedi outkast,3...,madden- well EA sports and games- star wars dark forces 1/2. Prey Half life 2...yes he did the engine for his best friend that owns valve... they were best friends as kids when they did id together. So with the half life 2 engine you have counter strike source,day of defeat source,the ship, alot more hl2 mods! Duke Nukem series used the doom engine shadow warrior used the doom engine Unreal tournament quake 3 quake quake 2 doom -made fps popular- doom2 -still holds the worlds record of 22 million copies sold on opening day- final doom doom3 wolf3d - started fps- return to castle wolfenstein wolfenstein -a next gen game- quake wars -supposely amazing- halo- his engine on the quake 3- Then valve is second its id engine they used to build on to give to other companies. I just love id, they dont make crap and sell the name like other companies cough EA games. Who thinks EA is garbage?tomdelonge0686

And now John Carmack has abandoned his fans and is making Wolfenstein 2, sequal to perhaps the father of FPSs, for console only.

Sorry, but that is just wrong in my opinion.

is THQ, Ubisoft and Sierra are game developers or publishers?

if those 3 companies are developers then those are my favorite

1) Valve

2 ) Capcom

3 ) Ubisoft

Tops my list now .

Blizzard. Their only real failure was World of Warcraft. I played WoW for about a year simply because I had nothing better to do, but it was really, really boring after grinding MC and BWL for months.

I love Bioware and Black Isle too, love all their games.

My least favourite developer probably is Bethesda.
