where's my fight night 3? my madden 09? my nba live in which i can rebound or play defense? my non-crappy ps2 ports? where, ea, where?

I would agree with Rockstar.

I just clicked results because as much as people hate EA, they're responsible for all those Madden and MVP Baseball games, and for many years they were unchallenged as the greatest sport series. Ubisoft is responsible for the Tom Clancy games, so I'm definitely not going to hate them. And Microsoft made Halo, which, although overrated, is still a great game, so no reason to hate them.

I just don't get GTA. Sure its fun to have such a free world, but its kind of lame, and gives video games a bad reputation.

you need to get your pc sports gaming history right. madden is just a cheap ripoff of front page sports: football, which basically set the standard for football games and made madden games what it is today (by basically copying everything that fps: football did); plus, they pulled the pc versions of madden games, so there's no joy there. mvp baseball is seriously lagging behind mlb: the show; plus, it wasn't even revolutionary in any way. high heat baseball was far superior to mvp baseball back in the late 90s, early 00s. and tiger woods pga tour is just a blending of the links series and the front page sports: golf game. ea sports totally ruined pc sports games.

the only thing they get credit for is what they did for basketball (nba live 95). that was the one good contribution they made to the genre. of course, their nba titles suck big time now and seriously lag behind the 2k series, so that's basically a moot point.

They turned my favourite game series - Splinter Cell - into crap. Double Agent was easily the worst game of the saga, riddled with bugs and optimisation problems. Plus, their idea of removing the HUD was really lame. Not to mention they changed the way SvM multiplayer - my mostly played game ever (more than 650hrs according to Xfire) - plays. Into the bad, of course.

Most of their new games aim for graphics, and offer little to nothing new in the gameplay department, thus offering many bugs and glitches.

A couple of years ago Ubisoft was my favourite game company. Now my opinion on it has changed completely.

well of coarse both companies are going to make the occasionall good game. i mean, ea produced crysis, ubisoft has some fun ones, and microsft also does. i'm just talking about in general, and also how the repeatedly screw us pc gamers over. look at the gears of war port. it was terrible. same goes for almost all of ubisofts, as said above, the sc double agent port was unbearable. the system requirements for the ports are usually WAY to high, just look at assasins creed. EA poops out short fps and sells them for full price, then poops out a couple of expansion packs with content that should have been in the origonal game.

i havent played any games by rockstar, so i have no quarel with them, but i can see why people hate them. gta has definitly given gaming a bad name.

EA: well the last sport games totaly... sucked.

Microsoft: Winodws XP SP2... half of the stuff on the stupid thing isnt working. Did they even test it?
