Your most anticipated game of 2007?

Seems like the fall of this year will make 2007 the best year for PC gamers since 2003/2004. Been quite a bad few years with nothing really coming out that i cared about apart from Dark Messiah of Might and Magic suprising me being innovative and fun. I'm not only excited to play the new games but it seems a great year for modders and pretty excited to start mapping using Unreal 3 engine at last because i'm fedup with how restrictive Source is....

Gears of War;

While i didn't enjoy it on the 360 and thought it was overhyped i'm excited for the PC version. The single player IMO was not very good but the multiplayer has alot of potential. What let it down on the 360 was the bugs and exploits and i hate the fact that theres no server browser you have to quick find games and don't know what your going to get into. I hope Epic port it right and give us a server browser and get rid of the 360 live crap. Also it has a great potential for modders with the SDK and the community along with me will be able to create bigger maps designed for 16 players instead of 8 if Epic allow us to place more spawn points.

Half-Life: The Orange Box;

I'm not excited about Half-Life Episode 2 because i thought HL2 was crap compared to HL and Episode one was just complete **** replaying what we already played in HL2 with nothing new. With Black Mesa Source coming hopefully sometime next year we'll get to replay HL and wont need HL2 lol.

However It comes with what i hope to be a great game "Team Fortress 2" and i wasn't a fan of the first one but this looks great.

Left 4 Dead;

Looks like it'll be some great multiplayer coop action and judging by the videos the AI seem pretty good to and don't get stuck or walk into walls lol. It could be the Resident Evil Online game we've all been waiting for lol.

Assassin's Creed;

Looks really kool but i hope it'll have some sort of multiplayer thats innovative cause seems like the kinda game that could do something great there. If not the the single player looks like alot of fun but we havn't really seen what it's all about yet.

Basically UT3 looks like UT04 with better graphics and tbh i was never a fan of them as they got boring fast and UT04 was never really that popular online in Europe and i don't think this one will be too. Bioshock while i loved the theme of it at first i just hate all the magic crap and think the way you hold guns looks abit off like they tacked the FPS on at the last minute. Crysis looks like Farcry with better graphics and i personally thought Farcry was veru boring and not all that fun.

Gonna have to go with Assassins Creed. Looks stunning to say the least.

Problem i found with COH is it was fun for a couple of hours but then it gets sooo repetitive and i don't normally play the same game over and over again cause it's liek whats the point lol.

You should be ashamed of yourself. The biggest bonus for this game (besides customise your heroine) is EA has no foothole in this superior product.

I'm a shooter fan so, pretty much all shooters that are coming up are in my list.

-Crysis, Bioshock and Call of Duty 4 being the most anticipated from the ones that are coming up, I'll definitely not pass away on the rest neither.

However, Hellgate: London I'm waiting for mostly along side Assassins Creed.

For me it's Bioshock, there are of course many others but this is the one I think will offer a totally new and cool gaming experience. Assasin's Creed, while it looks cool, really dropped down my list after seeing the E3 demo, the combat looks overly simplistic and the AI needs major improvement. I hope Ubisoft doesn't try to sell it on looks alone. Otherwise, I think the rest of the games people mentioned should do very well (but it might be '08 before we see most of these).

Sure crysis looks good, but I probably won't buy it just for the graphics. I can check it out at a cybercafe or something

Im eagerly waiting for Bioshock and World In Conflict.

Bioshock looks like is going to bring a new gameplay experience. Besides that, the people who made SS2 are working on it!!!

And World in Conflict, well... the ideaof defending the US with military hardware from the 80's (during the height of the cold war) and using tactical nukes that look awesome sounds outright cool to me.
