So, i am getting new 5.1 system this week... the Z-5500 or Z-906. Need adivce on which?

I know that Z-5500 is already very old, but i heard very mixed reviews about it's sucessor...

PS. Please don't suggest any other systems, only these 2 are an option.

Thanks in advance

I own a set of Z-5500s and have for a few years and I can tell you it was money well spent, sounds awesome and I don't really have any cons for them, they look slick, the control pod has all the options you'd need, 5.1 sounds awesome and even more amazing when listening to THX or Dolby content, I don't have any experience with the Z-906 but like you said there have been mixed opinions about them and I myself have chosen not to switch to them as my Z-5500s are going great for me. Hopefully this helps you ^.^

If you Don't mind me asking why is it that you're stuck between two overpriced speaker systems? There are much better options for less, I just want you to know that before spending $300-$400.

I know that there are many better options, but here where i live there is not much to choose from tbh.

I wanted to get some Onkyo set, but i would have to wait for them for like a month or more... And i can get Z-906 for really cheap.
