Hi,

I bought gtx560nonti ZT-50708-10M yesterday with new corsair cx-500 psu, and not sure it really delivers full power.Tested BF3 in 1920 res , got around 39-60 fps and 30-60 with ambient-HBAD (full quaility), i felt little lag though, but it was ok(seems like it is badly optimsed), then i switched to AC-Relevations hoping to get steady 60 but i was not even touching 40 even at 1440 res:|, (all was done with fraps in back ground with no record).I am having a quite old rig , so i suspect its bottle-necking my new card , or card is faulty ? Not sure please help..Below is the rig( i over clocked cpu to 3.0 now and did nt felt any noticable diff)

Q6600(2.4 GHZ),2 GB DDR2-Zeon, 680 LT sli mobo.....

With BF3 you need to use high textures, rest of the settings can be on ultra, use SSAO and only use post AA and your performance will be better.the game isnt badly optimized your just using settings too high for your GPU.

Also with Revelations many people with better PC's get bad performance too, its the game not your Pc.

*EDIT*

I see you only have 2gb of system memory, You need to get another 2gb and that will improve your Pc's performance all around.

As far as I know, new drivers like the 301.xx and beyond did have stuttering issues on the GTX 560, both Ti and non-Ti. Try downgrading your video driver to 296.10 and check if there's an improvement. Be sure to do a clean install to avoid any further performance issues. And if you have an extra budget for an additional ram stick, follow 04dcarraher's advice.

False about the drivers causing stuttering issues , I have GTX 560 and never encountered any stuttering or fps issues even with the latest beta drivers. The only times you will encounter issues is if your stressing your gpu beyond what it can do and or using too much Vram. also BF3 can have stutter/fps issue if you also dont have enough system memory .

Besides only having 2GB of RAM, it seems like a possible CPU bottleneck.

With only 2GB of RAM I cant imagine newer games playing all that great, that would lead to a bit of stuttering.

Guess I have to consider mine as a faulty one. I just bought a GTX 560 to replace my dying GTX 460 a week ago and even with the latest beta drivers, and of course using the same stable BF3 settings from my former gpu, the game was like a stop-dance contest especially during firefights. I'm also getting the same issue with Diablo 3, Starcraft 2, and Call of Duty so I had to take one step down with the drivers. I have 4 gigs of ram in my rig and I don't think memory is an issue since it's still the standard for gaming. But thanks for the info, I'll probably have my GTX 560 replaced within the week.

Like someone already posted, the GTX560 doesnt handle BF3 that good with at that resolution. its just not enough.

Its also true that you need to atleast double your ram, and the cpu is barely hanging in there.

thx for all your quick support , so i presume by having 2 gb ram will make things better and its not my card issue , at present i cannt afford to have new cpu so gonna stick with my q6600 until i suck every bit of it by overclock:D

still curious to know is there any way you can test if ur card is working fine apart from rating fps and lags?
