Thought you already had your 580s? You're confusing, bro... Which models are you referring to?C_RuleI sold the asus one, for $440, it was too big to fit in my case.

What models are they?
You shouldn't even be putting cards like that in an Alienware case, Alienware use crap cases. Get a new one. What are the model names of the two 580s you are comparing? Both Zotac and EVGA make multiple 580s.C_RuleThe one I have looks really cool and I have an a.c so I dont have to worry about heat issues.
Rather then sell the case and get a better one you sold the card?! What are you doing man just get a new case, Alienware ones suck anyway for cooling. If the cards are tight as hell they will probably overheat all the time in SLI with that case. You gotta stop buying and selling stuff so fast your gonna loose money like crazy.V4LENT1NEIf I buy a new case I will have to buy a new psu, motherboard, os, cpu cooler and who knows what else.

Can you not just transfer the motherboard over like normal or is the alienware motherboard different?[QUOTE="V4LENT1NE"]Rather then sell the case and get a better one you sold the card?! [QUOTE="Alienware_fan"]Different. Are you sure? How is it different exactly? Its shape is unique, and the pins for front pannel are also made for alienware cases only.[QUOTE="V4LENT1NE"] Why would you have to buy all that stuff? The good thing is, If I have warranty and something goes wrong with my system, alienware will change the parts with upgraded ones for free.
[QUOTE="Alienware_fan"]Ummm.... Don't think they're going to replace parts you have added to the system...Thats true. The good thing is, If I have warranty and something goes wrong with my system, alienware will change the parts with upgraded ones for free.

Well, they are both reference design, so the only thing to consider is the brand. EVGA are a more respected brand. Not saying Zotac are bad, just EVGA are probably better.C_RuleIs it worth $60 more? From what I have heard they both have life time warranty.
The one I have looks really cool and I have an a.c so I dont have to worry about heat issues. Not sure how a watercooler on the CPU is going to help your GPUs...[QUOTE="C_Rule"]You shouldn't even be putting cards like that in an Alienware case, Alienware use crap cases. Get a new one. Not sure how a watercooler on the CPU is going to help your GPUs...When did I ever say that? Oh, you were referring to air conditioning? Still not going to help much, when an Alienware case is more fit for preserving food, than keeping a computer cool.[QUOTE="C_Rule"][QUOTE="Alienware_fan"]The one I have looks really cool and I have an a.c so I dont have to worry about heat issues.

Is it worth $60 more? From what I have heard they both have life time warranty. Both companies offer a Lifetime Warranty so long as you register the video card within 30 days of purchase. It is up to you if it is worth the extra $60 or not for the EVGA card. I do know that EVGA is considered to have some of the best Customer/Tech support around. Don't know about Zotac since I've never had any of there products. EVGA does have the "Step-Up" program. Which would 90-day window (must register card within 30 days of purchase) to trade in that 580 (if you buy it) for a better gpu only paying the difference of the cost. In other words 50 days later you want a better gpu or Keplar (the next gen of Nvidia gpu's) miraculously gets released you can use the step up program and you only pay the difference of what you paid for your 580 and what the cost of the video card you are trading in for. However, right now the only thing better is a GTX 590 and it is NOT on EVGA's step up list right now. So this will basically be useless for you unless the 590 is added to the list or Keplar is released within 90 days of your purchase.[QUOTE="C_Rule"]Well, they are both reference design, so the only thing to consider is the brand. Actually as far as I'm aware they just use the Intel reference motherboards (your probably using: Click). If you want to buy another case then everything inside your rig should fit inside it provided the new case is form factor ATX or E-ATX.
Is it worth $60 more? From what I have heard they both have life time warranty. It's not worth the extra $60 , i have a Zotac gtx580 and it's great . get a zotac and put the money you save for something else .[QUOTE="C_Rule"]Well, they are both reference design, so the only thing to consider is the brand.
