Any word on Kingdom Hearts 3?

KH3 will be "Birth by Sleep" released for the PSP....not for the PS2 or PS3.

Never know though, it just might come on either console sometime after.

Don't take my complete word on this, but I believe Nomura stated that Birth by Sleep was not Kingdom Hearts 3. He is just taking a break from Sora's story, but rest assured once Nomura has finished with Final Fantasy Versus XIII, he will begin work with KH3.

Because of this, I believe he will develop KH3 for the PS3 because he will more than likely use the engine that is running FFVSXIII. This is just my theory and can be thrown out the window, on the side of the interstate and torn to pieces by wild animals if you would like it to be. Who knows, maybe it will be multiplatform?

Tetsuya Nomura gave an interview with FAMITSU where he stated that these three games will connect to a later Kingdom Hearts game sooner or later.

No KH3. And I can garentee you it wont be on the PS2 since it's kinda... You know, dieing.

Anyway, there have been three KH games anounced, though not full fleged sequels.

Kingdom Hearts Brith By Sleep will be a prequel to the series. Sora wont really be a main character. You'll play as Aqua, Ven and Terra. Not much else is known about it, but it will be using a modified version of the Chain of Memories combat system.

Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days for the DS will be set during Sora's one year sleep between Chain of Memories and Kingdom Hearts II. All organization members will be playable and it'll have a hefty multiplayer experience. It'll also introduve a 14th Organization member... as suspecious as it sounds.

And last there is Kingdom Hearts Coded for the cell phone. I don't know crap about it, but as unlikely as it sounds, it's supposedly coming to America.

Just because the next games are on handheld systems doesn't mean that they're done with Kingdom Hearts for the console. I think it's pretty cool to see the series branching out in different directions. Playing as the Organization sounds like fun, and I'm interested in learning more about that Keyblade Knight, Terra, from Final Mix +.

It's hard to say which console the next Kingdom Hearts will be after that, but I get the feeling that the 360 isn't a likely choice. Hopefully we'll get some information sometime next year.

well can't wait for this.. but Birth by sleep will come first..
