I haven't played all of them but I found X and X-2 to be ok... I didn't finish them however... I quite enjoyed Dirge of Cerberus though that is quite differen't from the normal ff games...
I would have to say both FF10 and FF12. FF10 had the better storyline by far and FF12 had alot more that had to be done in order to full complete the game. As for PS1 it would have to be FFVII that game is and always will be the best FF game ever
i played final fantasy 11 for pc a few years back and i thought it was an interesting "departure" for the game series. it's just a lot different than what i expected from a final fantasy title because of how they worked it out to be a MMORPG. i also had trouble finding groups of players to go out and play with and eventually got burnt out on trying to level up by myself.
For the PS2, I personally enjoyed Final Fantasy X more, but I've only played the first couple hours of Final Fantasy XII so far. I just got it a couple days ago. I purchased Final Fantasy X-2 two days ago, but I've not got to play it yet at all.
For the PS1, I think Final Fantasy VII and Final Fantasy IX are the best. I really liked VIII too, but it's not nearly as good as VII and IX.
