I plan to keep all my games, and i plan to keep my PS2 running as long as possible and then just put in storage somewhere safe....imagine 30 or 40 years from now having a working ps2 and original games for it....Im gonna get a PS3 sometime in the future (when they have better games for it)
The Ps2 still has alot of life in it. With the recent release of GoW 2, a fun co-op game like Red Star, and a whole truckload of RPGs coming its way....man I really wish they brought Ikaruga to the PS2, or do like a Treasure Collection for the PS2, that would own so hard, it would include like Ikaruga, Raidant Silvergun (redone w. better gfx), Gradius, and maybe a tricked out version of gunstar heroes....man those games were so incredibly good, i wonder why they stopped making games in that style....Graphics Killed the Gameplay Star
Ps2 will never be stopped as there are to many games out for it and not every can afford a ps3 and £50 a game but i would like to get a ps3 soon even though i have so many games on ps2 and they are still makeing more i think it is just as good as ps3 and i love to play most of the games i own:)
I never sell my consoles ever unless I have an extra one given to me or if I bought it really cheap and besides all of my PS2 games i do enjoy playing once in awile
kingdom hearts;, FFVII, mgs 3, and i need to buy 2 again, i dont knwo why i sold it, guitar hero, and any othergreat games that come along or that i forgot.

I agree and that's been my philosophy (except for the time I gave away my old gameboy games to kids less fortunate than I was). That and the amount of $$ I would get for some of my games wouldn't be enough to justify selling them (unless I sold them as a bundle).
As long as PS3 continues to retail at a ridiculously high price my PS2 will do just fine. I can't imagine ever getting rid of my PS2 or any of the games i have for it (especially as the PS3 reportedly has problems playing many PS2 games). As someone said earlier on I have weeded out all the games i don't want and lobbbed them on e-bay. The ones i have kept will be with me for a very long time to come.
its not the time for me to bring ps3 cuz my ps2 is just fine and i have so many games that i love playin' with it and havin' fun with it, and i will keep my ps2 games with me even if i brought ps3:P
