lord of the rings: return of the king. these games are a ton of fun and you wont find any more hakcin' and slashin' anywhere else! (it helps to like the movies)

My Favourite Best Co-op PS2 Games:

1. Red Star (Best Ever Hack n Slash + Shooting)

2. Mortal Kombat : Shaolin Monks (Best Co-op with Kung Lao + Liu Kang)

3. Marvel : Ultimate Alliance (Fight Evil with Friends)

4. X-Men Legend 2 : Rise of the Apocalypse (Fight Evil with Friends)

5. Contra : Shattered Soldier (Best Shooting Game)

6. Contra : Neo Contra (Best Shooting Game)

7. Dynasty Warrior 4 (Best Hack n Slash Game)

8. SBK 07 (Best Motor Racing Game)

9. Fifa '07 (Best Sports Game)

10. Time Splitters 2 (Best Shooting Game)

Well that's my favourite list of Co-op Games. Hoping for y'all favourable reply. :D

Yup it does support co-op play. Dynasty warriors 5 also has the largest cast of the character in the series and they fixed some of the lag issues. They also added some full voice overs in the story and some other bonuses like having a tiger fight along side you.

Oh and I noticed that you like Contra games, you should try Metal Slug Anthology which is a side-scrolling co-op shooter.

Yea it was a very good co-op game.I like that fact that midway went ahead and added the original MK2 as a bonus.

~Sighh~ I've tried it and it's quite a disappoitment for Metal Slug 5 as the game VERY VERY short.. Heck, it does pack loads of fun.. Thanks ;)

Champions of Norrath and Champions: Return to Arms the BEST hack n' slash co-op games ever made. Seriously they are even online too with millions of items and levels and skills and stuff.
