so i was wondering if anyone out there has some kind of opinion on this game. I hear that is really good and its Zelda like in a way and the fact that local store of mines has the game brand new for only $10.00. I check there about 2 weeks ago but im pretty sure that its still have them considering my area isnt that big on gaming
Buy it!!! It's cheap you won't go broke for buying it. It's really great, it's more than just a Zelda clone. In fact I wouldn't even compare the two of them to begin with, they are very different from each other...in every way.
I have never seen why people say it is like Zelda. The only non zelda games that I know of that feel zelda-ish at all are Okami, Dark Cloud and Alundra.
Beyond Good and Evil is just brilliant though.. It is one of my top all time games. Jade is a fantastic protagonist, and Pey'j the pig is fun too ( he reminds me of the pig man character in the movie Porco Rosso) I have played the game thru many times... I kind of wish there were a few more animals to photograph or hovercraft races to enter, but that is a minor complaint, because it just meant I was hungry for more BGaE.
I owned it I got stuck in the game near the end so I sold it.zachdragon
Wow... you actually sold it coz you got stuck. I got stuck at the end too but kept going til I got by it. Ever hear of a walkthrough? Just strange... I'd never sell a game I liked before finishing just because I got stuck.
And back to the topic: It's a fantastic game, one of my favourites. And for $10 it's a steal!
It is truly a pretty good game though. $10 is pennies but you shouldn't worry about your store not having a copy because it is such an underrated title.
get it, i got it as well but never got into it that much, something was missing in the story which was really good, maybe i missed seomthing or w/e the pearls weren't that great either, you could just get stuff at the hovercraft garage, i may start playing it agian later though, give it a shot thouhg.
