Buying a ps2?!

The question is simple; Do you think that I should buy a ps2?

The reason why I haven't bought one already is because I was waiting for the ps3 but since it is expensive, not as good as anticipated and not all of the old games can be played on it (in Europe). I have a lot of ps2 games that I would like to try out. I can get a ps2 for 1100 Dkr. (about 200 USD), and many of the games are cheep. (I don't care if I can buy a cheaper ps2 over the Internet)

Consider this, if you buy a PS2 now you will have games to play (not new games, but still good games) for more than 2 years...

buy the ps2 and forget the ps3 even exists for a few years until they lower that crazy price

 ps3 has very few games out anyways, while the ps2 has hundreds of games

Ps2 still has such an amazing library. I bought one (after selling my old one a year and a half ago) about 3 months ago and am still playing games ive never played...and before i sold my old one i had it since release. Odin sphere is coming out soon too and that game just looks amazing.
