Can't find racing game I like

I've tried Gran Turismo 4, Midnight Club, Extreme G3, and Wipeout Fusion, but I can't seem to find a game I really like. They're all too hard (GT4 and Extreme G3) or they just don't provide what I'm looking for. Wipeout is like I'm on a rollercoaster instead of driving anything.

Any suggestions? Thanks.

have you tried need for speed? or if you just want to crash stuff then try burnout

dude, if your looking for a fun racing game, get flat out 2, it is the funnest racing game i have ever played, tons of destruction, vehicle selection and fun fun racing!

flatout 2 its really fun, but i thought it was way too hard so i just used cheat and had some fun beating my brothers score ^^

F1 games are pretty lacking on the PS2... I have "F1 2001" which I'm sure you could find in the bargains bin of your local resale for zippo money, it's not bad... the one thing I would add here though is that it seems like sim games are not your thing so trying the strict F1 or NASCAR or other type of real-world racing is not for you. It's not that those games are harder, they're just a heep more technical. Try the BurnOut seris, starting with the third game "BurnOut: Takedown". EVERYONE loves that title... it's a ton of fun. GT4 and other titles like that take into account the fannatic side of motorsports, where players want ot be in charge of every little detail.

BurnOut is all about haulin' ace.
