Hello every1 !!!

I am new here, so its nice to meat you :)

I got a problem with my new ps2 (without guarantee): DVD games are working really fine, but the machine is not reading any CDs (for example cd-audio). Do you know what could that mean? Thanks!

Is it the slim model? Is it lying flat on standing on the side? Is it a burned audio CD or one you bought?

Did you buy your PS2 pre-owned? If so, someone probably conned you. If not, what type of CDs are you trying to use?

If it's second hand, I reckon your PS2 is just suffering from some wear and tear from old age.

After a while, the disc reading capabilities of PS2s tend to fail, e.g. my own won't read blue discs

It shouldn't matter too much though -- use something else to play your CDs.
