I just bought my PS2 slim silver edition with ratchet and clank: up your arsonal about 3 weeks ago. I just finished the game and now i either want God of War or Devil May Cry 3.
yea i saw devil may cry collectors(all 3) for 29.99 CDN, and god of war for 24.99 CDN. I want god of war but all 3 devil may cry games for 5 more bucks sounds good.

well it definantly is a great deal so you should get that but when you get a chance pick up gow.

i'd say that would be a better deal. but it'd be best to get both. =)

Get both, seriously, it will only cost you about $40. Both are excellent games. But if your looking for a more combat oriented game, then go with GoW
Ratchet & Clank is an easy affair. God of War is even easier. Time to get schooled with Devil May Cry 3. Hardcore action game fans go for harder, superior made games.
Get the DMC 5th Anniversary pack as its a better value. Besides its getting hard to find those. But I do suggest you get God of War when you can (best buy is selling it for $19.99 CAD).

DMC is a Japanese game, and most RPG's are, therefore a person that plays RPG's would more likely enjoy DMC3 as opposed to GOW which is very much an American game.

You should definitely get the DMC Collection.
God of War lasts just a few hours, I don't think it's that great. It just can't compare to any of the DMC games.
Three good games for the same price as another good one? If you went with the DMC Anniversary Collection, I'm sure it'd last a lot longer. Maybe even three times as long...

First... isn't DMC 2 in this collection? That game was horrible. However, DMC 3 is amazing. It's much better then GOW. Get DMC 3.
God of War 'cause the second one's coming out real soon. you wouldn't want it to realease without you beating the first one....at least i know i wouldn't...You can pick up DMC anytime after that .

God of War is fun, but I just feel that Devil May Cry 3 has a lot more replayability (can go back to specific missions and try to S/SS rank them or whatever), and rewards skill as opposed to blind slaughter. In GoW, you can just use a big ol' spell and get yourself a huge-ass hit combo (and probably waste most of the enemies), or just use the same quick-fire attacks over and over. In DMC3, an SSS-rank forbidden>
thats a hard one dmc and gow are both great action packed games and have the best storyline but gow is alot better with graphics and game play but if you decied 2 get dmc get the special edition where you can play as virgil dante's twin
