Dragon Quest VIII help!!! Hades's Helm is cursed!!

i found the item "Hades's Helm" and equiped it on Yangus and it was cursed, so now i cant remove it!

everytime i go to battle Yangus is cursed already and many times he cant atack

the problem is that for some reason i saved the game after that, and overwrote the old file, so now i cant find a way to remove the hat from Yangus (except going back to a really old saved game)

does anyone here now if theres a way to remove it? google doesnt seem to help...

if i remember it right, there is an item to remove cursed armors &weapons from its wearers. I think its "saint's ahes" sorry but i can't exactly remember were i found it or purchased it.

You can also use saints ashes in alchemy pot with the cursed item to remove its curses

To remove it just go to the church and they help you - for a little donation.

To purify the helmet and use it without get curse on our good friend Yangus you have to mix it with the Saint Ashes i think

Did you never even try out all the options in the church? >_> That's the first thing I did when I got in one. You shouldn't waste your Saint's Ashes on him. They're rare, if I recall correctly. Also, Hero has curse ward, so you can equip it without it effecting him.SoulSlayer_

yes, Jim (i mean, "Hero") is inmune to curse, and i thoght benediction was for something else

go to church ..use benidiction
