Favourite PS2 RPGs

make a list of your top 5 in order of your personal preferance. i want to know what people here thought were the best as i am an RPG fan who wants to get a PS2 soon and need some suggestions. please state why you liked those particular games too.

1. Dragon Quest 8

2. Final Fantasy 12

4.Shin Megumi Tensai Nocturne

5.Star Ocean 

1. Kingdom Hearts 2 (I luv it)

2. Final Fantasy XII (Nice graphics, but is Vaan really the main character? or is it Ashe?)

3. Valkyrie Profile 2 (three valkyries!!)

4. Suikoden 4 (suiko fan!!)

5. Final Fantasy X (very nive, but i haven't beat the game yet)

1. Suikoden V (Excellent story, good throwback to the old Suikodens)

2. Final Fantasy X (Great story, good twists, innovative leveling)

3. Suikoden III (Trinity Sight System is awesome, very complex and fun battle system)

4. Final Fantasy XII (Interesting attempt to change FF, it's nice to see a more political story)

5. Disgaea: Hour of Darkness (Tactic RPG, oune of the most funny games I played, features you haven't seen anywhere, very innovative)

I can't say I played a lot of PS2 RPGs, but of the ones I played (those 5 plus DQVIII, Shadow Hearts, FFX-2, Suikoden Tactics and SMT: Nocturne), they're the best
