FF7, Dirge Of Cerburus

I got Dirge Of Cerberus yesterday, and I found it to be really good, but why is it so underrated? Any Particular reason?

The reason I bought this terrible game is because of Final Fantasy Fanboys such as yourself.

The game dosen't have much going for it. Lame controls. Boring shooting. Same few enemies everywhere.

The only thing it has good is the story.

I still don't even feel like I'm in the same place as where FFVII took place.

I mostly liked it because of the story and Vincent is my favorite character.

I agree the gameplay could've been better.

Thank you for proving my point. Lesson of the day: Title does not indiciate quality of substance. Just because a game bears a name like Final Fantasy 7: (insert something catchy here) doesn't mean it is a good game, or will be a good game. Of anything, a publisher is hexing or damning a game by doing that because it means the game has to work harder in order to be labeled as good since it has to live up to the hype brought about by everyones preconceived notions.

I know that. I bought it, played, and traded it in. I said that because he is saying that anything FF 7 is awsome, which means he is going by the label alone. What I was trying to get at is that a games title doesn't mean anything in regards to if the game is actually good or not. I posted it because so many people these days just go out and buy something and rave about it as being so great just because of the title it has, which annoys me because a games title means nothing.
