FFX final boss help

was it that hard?
are you talking about the boss with two pieces of stones beside him? and with a hardcore background music?
if that's the case,you don't need zombie attack, at least i didn't use that

it is an easy boss, try to figure out a way to defeat him by yourself and you will have much more fun

no i don't. i gave up on that after 2 hours of trying to beat the chocobo sidequest for Tidus.

The two stones keep healing Jecht, so if you use Aurons zombie attack, cures will turn into attack, making life a lot easier. You will find Aurons zombie attack in the skills section, you whould have acquired the skill from the sphere grid. Don't bother attacking the stones.

Keep using Yuna's Holy, apply haste to all your characters with tidus, and keep using Aurons zombie attack.

If your characters are struggling, use your Aeons overdrives on the second part of the boss. If you still can't beat him, train some more and keep building up the sphere grid.

train yuna's strength is the easiest way, my yuna has like 120 strenght and my anima does like 5 million damage in total with his oblivion..., or train yunas magic realy high and get break damage limit, she can do 99999 damage with holy

ok well i'm at Braska's final aeon and i got to the second part of the boss. i'm using a walkthrough and it says to use a zombie attack which'll do 99999 damage. what the hell is a zombie attack? i'm really confused.Ms_Lockheart

It's an attack that is in Auron's section of the Sphere Grid.

When I first played through, I didn't even use the book for that part. I was so overly beefed up, I killed him in 2 hits overall :P

another thing you could do is equip one of your character's weapons with zombiestrike * i used titus since his attacks aren't very strong* and that will turn jecht into a zombie so when the stupid stone things cure him, they'll actually harm him...

and dont forget to talk to him with titus whenever he's close to his overdrive. that's a life saver there.. except it only works three times...

I spent all my money to Yojinbo, he performed a Zanmatou and the boss was destroyed in one second :D (no joke, and hey, you don't need the money anymore after the ending ^^) White_Wanderer

yeh i suppose,i beat him easily though, just train on gagazet and get all or tidus' overdrives...then capture some monsters get yuna's celestial wep, power it, then get tidus theability t swap his overdrive to someone else and keep powering up yuna...she gets break dam limit, problem solved

Either you go back to the monster arena and keep killing Juggernauts and getting strength spheres or you can try to beat him while using hundreds of potions.

Which boss you mean? Yuyeven or Jecht? Anyways for yuyeven you're given plenty of candle of life and auto-life to revive party members incase they died. If you don't have candle of life, go to Zanarkand ruins and kill the officers to earn some and use them on yuyeven and he's dead. Yuyeven is the bug which is the last boss in the game.

As for Jecht: you need to hit the two things beside him before he's able to inflict a powerful hit which could kill all party members and that require you to level up a bit. At least until they can't hit in7000 HP range. Just keep killing the two things and you'll be fine.

I dont recall the final boss being that hard.But that being said, i can't really remember how to beat it. But Lulu was my strongest character, i used her for black magic and yuna for white magic and Auron who is the tanker.. that's all i remember... Oh my.. thinking of FFX, makes me wanna play the game all over again. I loved this game !!aaron5829

Lulu was a pain man....Just trying to get her celestial weapon and make her magic 255 was pain rather than fun:(
