What is it!?

I just got my PS2 working online and this game looks really, really good. I am not quite sure what it is though... So I need a couple of questions answered before I go out and spend money on it.

Just to clarify something...it's not turn based...is it?

Also, how much is monthly free and game. Do I need any other accesories with it?

Are there many people playing it? I bought Champions of Norrath today, went into online to see no games going and when I decided to host one, no one joined. I don't want another situation like this.

Please reply, I am very interested in the FF series and I am wanting to add this one to my collection.

The monthly fee depends on how many charecters you have on.... i personally dont like the game but i know some ppl that play it.. the fighting isnt turn based but its somewhat like FFXII just slower.. there are still alot of people playing due to them also releasing it on the xbox 360. You have to have the older ps2 model(the bigger fatter one) and you have to have an HDD to dowload the game on.. Im not exactly sure the monthly fee but i think it may be around 12$/month give or take? Its an mmorpg.. from what ive seen watching them play it, it has alot of missions to take on and you do alot of leveling up with party groups with other players. Theres alot more to it but i dont want to type that much hahaha..

P.S. im a really big fan of the FF series but i really couldnt get into this one due to how slow it is..Just found it boring and it requires ALOT of time..

yea you cant play it on the slim, its 12.95 a month plus a buck per extra character. Honestly it still has a pretty big community i think around 5000 at a time on any given server but at this stage its pretty hard for new comers to get into.

Hard question to answer, alot of games have been permanently shutting down their servers for good. Your usually stuck with either a first person shooter or a game with hardly any community at all.

well i know that they're shooters, but good online PS2 games with thriving comunities are Call of Duty 3 and SOCOM:Combined Assault. I have both of those and play them fairly regularly.
