If you are looking for an rpg, I would say go for it. You can read some reviews first just to make sure you're going to enjoy it because some of the system/features are not the same as other rpgs. But really, I think it's one of PS2's great rpg.

I was actually planning on getting a Wii with TP, but I don't have any luck with that. So I was deciding if I should get this game while I wait. I am Final Fantasy fan, and I really love FF10, I heard that it was really good, but I wanted to really know if it was worth it.
If you really love ff then get it but i really like ff and i didn't really enjoy ff12 the battle system sucks so if u really enjoy it then get it but you may not like the battle system.
I love the combat system. I mean you can do so many things with it and it lets you sit back and watch battles instead of drudge through them. My only problems with FF12 is there are no minigames and the cast is kind of small. I think it will be a majorly saught after version of FF in the future. If you love FF games already then you really have no choice. This is one of the most beautiful versions.
Final Fantasy XII is the last best RPG to be released on PS2 in my opinion. The game is very vast and takes a good amount of time to complete. The game has amazing visuals and gameplay and it's one of the best. It's amazing.
i think it is a good buy i bought it and i am still playing it. i dont think the battle system is bad per say, it is just different from the other ones. i say get it.
final fantasy has always had a good storyline... but the battle system contantly change by series... some people like this, some like that... depends... terms of graphic, it's beautiful... my opinion... go get it
