Yo brother, FFVIII (because it was my very first ps game and it was an extremely in depth storyline, grasped you from end til the finish, extremely usuable and manageble gameplay i.e. Junction. and had my favorite mini game, Triple Triad) and FFX (because it is the best ever, extremely emotional and interesting story that I think is the top of the line, very indepth characters multi-dementional layers of them, very fun gameplay, nice long main storyline, very fun playing blitzball, lots of extras to achieve, and have to say that it is in the top 5 games of all time).
I'm getting a silver PS2 on the 3rd of next month. My first game for it will be FFX. My second will be FFVIII. Already have the soundtracks to both on my iPod

VIII and IV. Those are the ones that keep me coming back to replay them.kenshinhimura16
Yeah, VIII was the best. I had keept on playing it up until I had completed everything, even beat Omega Weapon!!!!! IV was pretty good, but I really did'nt stick to it, plus I rushed through it, and got to the end bosses and was lvl 40's and had to cheat to beat( Iknow I'm a loser).
I liked VII and VIII, but now they seem more than a little outdated. So I would have to say XII because I loved FF before, but this just made it so much more satisfying, because I loved the more complex storyline and lack of love interests. The kept it amazing and as not emotional as a FF game could get. It also has by far the best music out of all of them.
