SO when i play final fantasy everything is FINE. accept when i get to one part in the cutscene where tidus wakes up on the ebach of basaid and he kicks the blitsball, he falls and thenn the cutscene stops like its frozen there but you can still hear the music, the waves moving and the seaguls and stuff moving. SOOO what im saying is the game kidna stops there and its like the ps2 cant read whats happening next or something. on the other files ive played everythings fine really. this is the only problem i have and i dont know whats going on or how to fix it.

please help its really anoying, this is my fav game EVEER :(

Try cleaning the disc and dusting off the lens of the PS2. Try it again and see if it works. If not, then maybe try starting a new file (since that's close to the beginning anyway), kind of a long shot there, but it's worth a try just in case somehow your file data is corrupted.

If none of that works, I'd try some other games to see if it's a problem with your PS2 or just that copy of FFX. Whichever one is broken, buy a new one to replace it.

i'd say u clean u'r lense..

there's a board somewhere that teaches u how to clean u'r lense and/or adjust u'r lense so that it sits on the rite place.. i've tried it once and it work wonders, though it is a bit tedious..

oh and i owed the fat ps2.. heard that u can't adjust the lense in the slim one.

My FFX copy does that crap as well. And so does my FFVII.

I havent had problems like this from most companies and im very leery about buying another square product, because all of that seems to be coding issues, and it is all in how they load cutscenes. Perhaps if the cutscenes were skippable this wouldnt happen. My disk let me get through to the end (I still have a final dungeon save) but on my second playthru it gets stuck trying to load the cutscene on mt. gagazet introducing that dragon that you fight after the fight with seymour.

My ps2 has no problems, and my disk has no scratches so all I can do is blame the programmers :P

Most likely.... the disk is busted... Probably be easier to go out and spend about 20 bucks for a sealed copy from walmart.

figure out the rest for yourself.....
