Getting a PS2 for Chistmas, need help

What should i get and what do i NEED to get? I have a budget of $250-300 and i know the system is 130-150. What games should i get and what things do i need (memory cards, blah blah).

Games to, i want KH, GoW, and FFX but what other games are their?

Are you planning on buying it from Gamestop or ordering online? Cuz I know they have good deals on Amazon and other various sites where they the PS2 slim with 2 controllers and possibly a game or memory card. Well I bought my slim less than a month ago and I bought the system which came with one controller (130) and an 8mb memory card for 20 bucks and it has all of my games stored on it about 30 or more. IDK what kinds of games you like but I suggest you consider buying:

Devil May Cry 1-3

Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2

DDR (any version)

Final Fantasy X/X-2

Tekken 4 and 5

The King of The Fighters Games

Guilty Gear Games

Chaos Legion

there's a bunch more I can't think of off hand >.
