God of War or Resident Evil 4?

God of War succeeded in trying to translate a Hollywood action movie-style plot to a videogame, and being badass at the same time.

RE4 succeeded in being a completely fresh experience for both first time Resident Evil players, and the long-time vets, as well.
It is a top-rate action game, with some pretty spooky moments (monks chanting, or suits of armor, anyone?) Sure, it may be too different for some people--but a game that pleases both the graphics-whores, and the action game purists is a-ok in my books.

It basically comes down to this; Fan of Devil May Cry? Get GoW. Fan of the Survival Horror/Shooter genre, but still enjoy the trademark humour of Resident Evil? Get RE4. ;)

for me I guess...

it would be GOW 1 or 2

but still it depends on you...

cause You won't want to spent money for a game you wouldn't like...

if money is not a problem..

then buy them both...

it also depends on you playing ability...

if you like shooting then go for RE4

but if you like.. doing cool moves!! Great gameplay!! and using your mind for a game because of its puzzle content then go for any GOW!!

Resident Evil 4 is the best choice in my opinion.

But God of War is a good game too.

man how can youchoose between them they are completely diffrent games, both are amazing and lets leave it at that?

i've beaten RE4 at first playing ... without stopping i mean. i put the game into ps2 and put it into its box when the game ended.,o i can say its more than amazing

GoW is really great game too, its really epic adventure but its somehow slow compared to DMC3, though that doesnt mean its so slow nor bad, its still a must to play and beat but beat RE4 first if you ask me
