anybody know of any good fighting games for ps2. i was planning on buying tekken 5 but i dont know ive never played it before, or any of the previous versions
There aren't any good fighting games for the PS2 per say, but if your looking for anything you can try Mortal Kombat Armageddon, if that doesn't suit you well, you can try Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 2.
Some people like tekken 5 but it's lame to me. I like much more Mortal Kombat: Armagedon. And if you wath to try so smarther figth there you need some skills not just every button pushing i recomend you to try Dragon Ball: Budokai Tenkaichi 2.

tekken 5 is great. soul calibur 3 is also great. best 2 ps2 fighting games imo
Capcom vs SNK 2 Street Fighter Anniversary Collection Street Fighter Alpha Anthology Guilty Gear X2 (if you have a PS2 capable of playing imports, importing GGXX Slash would be better) King of Fighters 2002/2003 (if you have a PS2 capable of playing imports you should get NeoWave & KOF XI as well) Marvel vs Capcom 2 (DC version is the best, though)
